Are you ready to relax?

Built in the 50s, Wildwood Cottage in Bristol New Hampshire has been our family’s vacation home for more than a decade. The crystal clear water of Newfound Lake is just a short walk to the bottom of the hill, and the wondrously tall conifer trees are all around.

Though the outside of the cottage is deceptively small, the inside is quite spacious, with plenty of light, natural pine woodwork and the obligatory deer head. If you’re looking for “lodgy,” you’ve found the right place, complete with a retro VHS movie collection and plenty of board games. Don’t worry, there’s also a DVD player, a Game Cube, and flat-screen TV. No cable!!

It’s nearly impossible not to relax here. We even leave a guitar hanging in the sun room for you to indulge your inner James Taylor!
